Kentucky Star Quilt Shop opened it's doors on May 22nd 2012. We have a wide array of 100% high quality cotton fabrics from companies such as Marcus Brothers, Moda, Clotheworks, Blue Hill, P&B Textiles, Michael Miller and many others. We carry Barroco yarn and DMC embroidery floss for your knitting, crocheting and embroidery needs. We also have a diverse group of patterns ranging from quilts to purses to casserole carriers. Your notion needs will be met and we can special order if needed.

Our hours are convenient with Tues thru Fri 10am to 5pm, Sat. 10am to 3pm.
Open off hours by appointment.

Machine quilting services are available.

Many classes from beginner to advanced sewing/piecing/quilting are available.

Kentucky Star Quilt


Connie Pryor owns Kentucky Star Quilt Shop and has a great love of quilts and fabrics. "I love to put colors and patterns of fabric together to make projects. I especially love to help customers with their selections. She is an RN by trade and looks forward to retirement when she can spend more time at the shop. She has been married to her husband Greg for 38 years and has two daughters and four grandchildren.

Melanie: Melanie is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She moved to Hopkinsville with her husband who started a new job. She has four children. Her sewing specialty is mostly garment making. As a young person she yearned to learn the old world techniques of tatting, embroidery, crocheting, and smocking and has brought those talents to the quilt shop. Melanie serves as the vocal director and costume designer for Campanile Productions; a not for profit theatre group located her in Hopkinsville.

Dianna: Dianna moved to Hopkinsville from Colorado although is a native of Kentucky. She is married to a minister and has two daughters. She learned to sew in Home Economics in High School. Her specialty is window treatments and public sewing. She has been a quilter for only two years. She is an avid runner and participates in half marathons and will run her first marathon in January 2013.
